Holy Saturday Batman

A friend of mine had a running joke, which we intend to keep up, of echoing Robin's repeated Holy *insert word here* Batman on this particular liturgical day. As I'm not really sure where I'm with on the training front as the marathon plan has been abandoned, so I thought it was as good a name for a post of anything.

I really meant to just go out for a pootle to kill some time and to wear off some of the cake my friend and I have sampled in making deserts for our big choir meal tomorrow. Ended up seeing a random bit of hill and running up it - although running is possibly the wrong word given that I had to be on all fours for some of it. The elevation looks a lot better in the garmin player than on GRG.

Knees were holding up fine, as were my feet - hopefully this is a good sign - and one of the reasons I decided to do some traily type work rather than roads. Perhaps if I can keep this up while I'm in Wales I might be able to get back into it again.

A quick view of the hill I just ran up ... that is a car down on the road ...
